The differences between traditional counseling and experiencing ontological personal life coaching are significant. The counselor is likely to use a form of traditional talk therapy. While this is an oversimplification, talk therapy focuses on logically understanding the problem or learning to live with (cope) the problem.
My experience is that those I coach already consciously understand that they have a problem, but still can’t control that problem. The main goal of ontological coaching is to get the conscious mind and subconscious mind to work together and to move beyond the issues to live a balanced and an even better life.
What I do is quite different than what you will find in counseling. Rather than looking at what I do in opposition to those types of therapy, they can complement what I do here. The logical conscious mind and the emotional subconscious mind have very different needs, however. In my opinion the best way to improve your life and create significant results is through coaching. I teach you how to get out of your own way by tapping into your intuition to create realistic goals, getting out of your own way and living your passion and purpose.
